A PROJECT BY THORSTEN GRÜTJEN FOR INDOOR STAGES AN PUBLIC OUTDOOR SPACES.

T0+1
A SHOW BETWEEN 4 WALLS AND ON 3 WHEELS.

A circus artist loses all his work after a pandemic has shaken the world as we know it.

The Artist-Clown-Juggler, at the end of his confinement, hits the road on his three-wheeled motorbike and tries to find his street, his public space, his working place where he can present his shows and meet people again.

Unexpectedly he is forced to make a stop: a mechanical breakdown! Or is it something else?

Inside his small house, the thoughts, emotions and uncertainties experienced during the days of Lock Down are rising. He reflects on the right to housing, nomadism and the importance of seeing our planet as a home for all its inhabitants.

He looks for answers in the works of the great philosophers, having as root the Platonic Solids that represent the five elements of the universe.

In a poetic and clownish language, he presents these ideas to the first visitors to his house, in a promise of renewal, union, hope and a will to create a better future.

A Present Future!

Richard Buckminster Fuller (1895-1983, USA), designer, architect, inventor and writer, one of the sources of inspiration for this show, was already creating and developing house models based on the theories of utilitarian ecology in the 1930s. Fuller thus invented the DYMAXION (Dynamic Maximum Tension) concept-house

T0+1 explores these forces - Dynamic Maximum Tension - interpreting them through movement, object manipulation and creating a relationship between the human body and the functionalities of this micro unit Dymaxion, on three wheels, with a Forvel-Casal engine.
