SYNOPSIS
A lighthouse keeper experiences his last day of work in his lighthouse before being replaced by an automated system. At the end of this final day, he flips through the lighthouse’s journals. With decades of observations and notes in his hands, memories of the adventures and events of his life as a lighthouse keeper resurface.

Memories of a life shaped by the constant ascent and descent of the spiral staircase, the maintenance of the machinery, and the observation of the weather, the sea, and maritime life. Shipwrecks, survived storms, and mysterious objects washed ashore by the waves gradually fade into the past...
